Illness and infection control
To help everyone to stay well and to protect from the spread of infection, I will have a window open for ventilation whenever the weather allows. I would be grateful if all piano pupils would use the hand sanitiser provided in the entrance hall at the start of their lesson.
If you have a mild cough or slight cold and you are well enough for your lesson, I would be grateful if you would wear a face covering, as I will do in the same situation. However, if you are feeling unwell in any way, please don’t come to your lesson, as I want you to be able to concentrate on and benefit from your lesson.
If you are well but another member of the household has another highly contagious disease (such as Covid 19, Norovirus or “Strep throat”) or has a hacking cough, fever, heavy cold or flu like symptoms, very sore throat, unexplained headache, diarrhoea or is generally unwell, please do not come (or send the pupil) to my house for a lesson.
I will always try to rearrange a missed lesson (up to 4 weeks ahead), but cannot guarantee to do so.
